Not everyone can hop on a plane, join a TOPAZ Project, or visit the world centres. Time, health, finances, or even security issues can make travelling difficult, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on an international experience.

With the internet, books, and a little creativity, you can bring the world to your doorstep with no passport required. Members who take part can also purchase the International at home badge from the Trefoil Guild online shop to mark their experience.

What is International at home?

International at home is a chance to explore another country without leaving your own. Choose a destination, research its culture, food, and traditions, and share your discoveries with others.

It is about curiosity, connection and fun, experiencing new places in a way that works for you. Whether you do it alone, with a small group, or as a whole guild, it is an opportunity to learn, taste and celebrate the richness of another culture right where you are.

How do I take part?
