International news: 13 Trefoil members from West Glamorgan travelled to India in February for three weeks. Highlights were many and varied, from museums, temples, palaces, the Taj Mahal at dawn, and of course, Sangam.
Five nights were spent at Sangam, celebrating Thinking Day with over 600 guides and scouts, a live link-up with WAGGGS, entertaining 60 doorstep children, so many happy faces.
'On to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Safari into Ranthambhore National Park, all sorts of wildlife to be seen. An elephant ride, and a service at the Jagtish temple....
The poverty and wealth that is India, but always the smiles and worm welcome on the street, in people's homes, schools, when showing us their work - truly a memorable experience.'
The group were so enthused about their Indian adventure that they now plan a Mexican trip to go to our Cabaňa in 2018.
