Role description
Trefoil Guild are seeking a treasurer to join the board of trustees. If you have an accountancy background and are able to provide financial reports, including budgets for the trustees and members, then the role of treasurer to the national Trefoil Guild could be the one for you. If you have worked with the Sage Accounting package (formerly SageOne), you’d be an ideal candidate.

Role description:

• Is a member of Trefoil Guild
• Is a member of the board of trustees
• Works closely with the national chair and the finance and general purposes chair and committee
• Is a member of the finance and general purposes committee
• May be invited by the chair of a sub-committee to attend a meeting if required
• Submits regular progress reports to update members of the board of trustees
• Works with staff especially the office manager and executive assistant to the national chair on budget, spending, and accounting
• Works with the finance and general purposes committee and board of trustees on budgets for the organisation

• Computer literate with excel competency
• Member must be numerate
• Understanding of or prior use of Sage Accounting highly desired.
