The county of West Glamorgan does not actually exist! However, it serves as a preserved county with limited functions and is made up of the two unitary authorities of the City and County of Swansea and Neath Port Talbot County Borough. it contains Wales' second largest city, Swansea and the principal towns of Neath and Port Talbot.
Stretching from Margam in the east and dominated by the Port Talbot Steelworks, to the stunning scenery of the Gower Peninsula in the west, bordered by the slopes of the Black Mountains and Bannau Brycheiniog to the north and the sweep of Swansea Bay to the south, the county is a mix of countryside, breathtaking coastal view and industrial heritage. So much to see and do, a wonderful place to spend time and relax, where you can always be assured of a warm welcome.
