Scottish lones and special interest groups

Lones is a standalone Trefoil which is specifically for members who find it difficult to attend local meetings or who have no Trefoil meetings nearby. Members of Lones are from as far North as the Isles of Uig and Skye and as far South as Northumberland. Lones follows the same Programme as a regular Trefoil and also undertakes the same Awards and Challenges. Communication is mostly by letter/email/telephone but Zoom meetings are planned in the near future and Lones has its own private Facebook group Scottish Lones.

Saorsa Trefoil Guild was formed in 2018 when a Ranger Unit was closing down. The remaining six members decided to take their activities online to engage with a younger demographic from the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Since its inception, Saorsa Trefoil has grown beyond its original focus, we now have a broader membership that includes individuals from across the UK, as well as one international member. Saorsa has its own private Facebook group called Saorsa Trefoil Guild
