North East Yorkshire has the ideal mix of all that is good about this county: wonderful countryside, picturesque market towns and breath taking coastal views. Although perhaps less visited in comparison to other areas within the region, North East Yorkshire packs a punch when it comes to sightseeing and family days out. With such a variety of things to do, this area is a great place to spend time and relax.

Castle Howard is famous for hosting such films as Brideshead Revisited, Death Comes To Pemberly, Victoria, Bridgeton and Downton Abbey.
