Known for its 115 miles of captivating coastline, the region is a haven for water enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. For walkers there is the North Down Coastal Path which winds its way along the edge of Belfast Lough. While the Ards Peninsula has barren beaches and quaint villages to the outside and Strangford Lough, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the inside.
