Greater Manchester West is one of the region's smaller counties. The county covers the Local Authority areas of Trafford and Salford. They are delighted that they are a very varied and diverse community. They work together to build communities as well as providing support to their adult volunteers within Girlguiding. The county has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service for the Comfort Bag Scheme initiated by Trefoil member Pat Mayle.
