Essex South East is one of the smallest counties in Anglia region but includes many major towns: Billericay, Basildon, Rayleigh and the infamous Southend.  Many visitors flock to Southend to enjoy the beaches as well as the world's longest pleasure pier at 1.34 miles long. Visitors to this part of the county often also visit the ruins of Hadleigh Castle which was built during the reign of Henry VII and Hadleigh Park which was home to the 2012 Olympic Mountain Bike events.
