
Carmarthenshire is a beautiful county, known as ‘The garden of Wales’ because of its rich and fertile agricultural land. The county's attractions are many and varied. The National Botanical Garden is situated at Llanarthney. Among other attractions are: Gwili Steam Railway, Llyn Brianne reservoir, Aberglasney, many castles. The county also has a lovely sandy coastline and coastal path.
Carmarthenshire has one Guild with 21 members. As well as their regular meeting, they meet on the second Wednesday of the month for coffee in the Ivy Bush Hotel.
