York excursion
23 members from Ulster Trefoil visited York as part of their Scarborough trip. Many of the group went on the hop on hop off bus, so that they could explore York in comfort and learn about York's varied history. With the Romans, Vikings and chocolate all playing a part in the history of York, it proved to be an incredibly interesting tour.
Once off the bus, the group split off into smaller groups. Most explored the Shambles, the shopping district in York, where one group met up with a bear, while another group met up with Paddington after their trip to York minster. Lunch, art and ice cream were the other top activities enjoyed by the group.
