Three Golds for Clogher

Three members from Clogher Guild in County Tyrone, Ulster, all received their Gold Voyage Awards on Saturday 6th September at the Ulster 2024 annual review and fashion show.

The three members helped their local community in various ways with one member becoming the local leader of the mothers union, another the women’s institute, while the third set up a seniors club.

For explore my world, they explored the Netherlands and Spain, while the third explored closer to home with the most challenging exploration a walk over the Mourne mountains.

For skills, they all tried making lace, but for one member it proved really difficult so she ended up making felt pictures and jewellery instead. Once they had practiced their new skills, they shared them with their fellow guild members.
