Priory Trefoil Guild - The first ten years

Priory Trefoil Guild was registered on 09 April 2015 and was started in response to a challenge from Pat Downer (National Trefoil Guild Chairman) in 2014 that each County should try to open a new Guild as membership numbers were dropping.  In honour of our fabulous Guild we had a party and invited everyone we could think of (including past members) who had helped to make Priory Guild the friendly, vibrant group it is today.  We were delighted that guests included: our Region Chairman (Lesley Haworth); NEE Deputy Chief Commissioner for Girlguiding (Alison Cunningham); County Commissioner for Girlguiding (Hannah Cook); our own special current and past members, and members of Selby and York City Guilds.  The Region Chairman took the opportunity to use the gathering to say “thank you” to the out-going Chairman (Myra Puckrin) and “welcome our new Chairman (Lesley Strathie).

As we wanted to showcase everything we had done in those 10 years a booklet was produced to record our journey.  We were all surprised that we had done so much, especially when lock down came.  Below are some photos from our party and a bonus was that a previous member would like to re-join.
