Norfolk Annual Review

Norfolk Trefoil have recently held their Annual Review and were all pleased that Karen Batten, our Region chair, was able to join us. Members enjoyed a variety of events during the morning, Indian dancing, campfire singing, different walks and various crafts. Our afternoon speaker was a local Guider who was both blind and deaf. But, thanks to the help of her Guide dog, Winnie, is able to lead a very active life. She told us of the events in her life and Winnie’s that were significant – like being told she was blind as a single mother with three young children. She showed great courage, bravery and confidence, even though she still has many difficulties to overcome. She was a great example to us all.

Karen Batten was able to present a Trefoil Guild Anglia Thanks Award to one of our members and also two members were awarded their Silver Voyage Awards.
