Luminate Midlands Region Camp

80 members from across the Region joined together at Beaudesert for an action packed fun filled  camp. Many returned to their tents, others stayed in the indoor accommodation and some in caravans and motor homes.

The camp started with a mini Olympics with, welly wanging, hoopla,  jenga, beer pong and a few others. Ladies worked in patrols to score points. Bhangra dancing got us all moving on the first night.

Saturday and Monday we opted for activities such as kayaking, axe throwing, fencing, circus skills and several more sedate ones. Sunday was visitors day and we all worked on so many activities all connected to the STAR challenge badge. No camp is complete without a campfire and Fiona had us singing old and new songs. (Grandma made an appearance and went shopping again!). 

Escape rooms, aquabox and Games and Brains had the grey matter working. 

The food was amazing and the whole camp had a wonderful atmosphere. Fun and laughter everywhere with old friendships rekindled and many new ones made.  All to soon it was time to leave, with the main comment being when is the next camp?
