SWE Annual Meeting at Trowbridge
What a special day it was in Trowbridge for our Annual Meeting 2025. Friends old and new from around the region descended on the town in Wiltshire South which was awash with a sea of red as members gathered to celebrate all that had happened throughout 2024.
There were a few surprise during the meeting. Hilary, our outgoing region chair, was presented with the Trefoil silver brooch and Avril, outgoing region PRA, was presented with the new region silver oak leaf thanks and recognition badge - the first recipient.
The meeting finished with a talk from Liz who began the charity acef. This works to change the lives of children in a large slum in Nairobi by improving education, health and opportunities by supporting Brainhouse Academy. Liz's presentation was truly inspiring.
