A Taste of Girl Scouting in Michigan A Girl Scout Alumnae Trip June 19-25, 2017 Join fellow Girl Scout Alumnae for a weeklong journey to “Pure Michigan”

·Six nights lodging with breakfast daily at the Holiday Inn, Murray Hotel and the Dearborn Inn
·Upon arrival you will depart Detroit Metro airport by luxury motor coach at 2 p.m. for Frankenmuth.
·Experience Bronner’s, the World Largest Christmas Store, enjoy the town’s famous chicken for dinner and if desired an evening stroll exploring the downtown shops.
·Wake up refreshed stopping at the Scout Haus before proceeding north, crossing the Mackinac Bridge where we board the ferry in St. Ignace for our 3-night stay on Mackinac Island.
·Activities include an island carriage tour, fort admission, the governor’s mansion, High Tea and kitchen tour at the Grand Hotel, fudging and shopping. Activities with the host Girl Scout troop include viewing the flag ceremonies at the historic buildings, participating in the morning circle and a tour of the Scout Barracks.
·Highlight event is an evening boat ride taking you under the “Mighty Mac.”
·Too soon we depart the island stopping en route for a wine tasting and box lunch at Seasons of the North winery followed by a stop at Cross in the Woods.
·Back in Dearborn you will dine on authentic Middle Eastern food while visiting and learning about the 300 Islamic sister scouts that comprise Troop 48050!
·Your final day consists of a tour at the Ford Factory and free time at Henry Ford Museum. Too soon we say goodbye at our closing banquet and ceremony at the Dearborn Inn.
