The exhibition ‘Pushing Boundaries’ charting 100 years of Guiding in Wales ran until September 3rd 2016 and was put together over many months by a team of Leaders and Trefoil Guild members, finally being staged by the professional staff at the Library. Most of the items on display have come from the extensive Welsh archive.
The centrepiece of the exhibition is a beautiful wall hanging, depicting Girlguiding activities through the years. Each County produced a panel representing their county, and these were
added to the main body of the hanging.
Congratulations to Sheila Edwards, West Glamorgan and her team for producing a magnificent piece of craftsmanship, which took many hours over the last 12 months.
After Aberystwyth, the exhibition travelled to Buckley in North Wales, where it was very well received with great
comments from the general public.
The items have now all been returned to Broneirion.
