Branding, style and badge guidelines

Our branding and style

As part of the Girlguiding family, our brand has been refreshed. We still have our recognisable red and gold colours and our new logo matches Girlguiding's.

Our key messages are still find friendship, give support, get involved, and get active, and the way we talk about Trefoil has been refreshed too so that we can ensure we are accessible to all.

As part of this refresh, we have new brand guidelines and new style (tone of voice) guidelines. You can read these in depth below, or look at our helpful brand overview document to see the key information.

Girlguiding and Trefoil branding will change gradually over the next few years, so we expect to see our previous brand and new brand style sitting side by side. This helps us reduce wastage too.

As well as a new logo for Trefoil as an organisation, you can also create a localised version for your guild, county, country or region. To do this, visit the Girlguiding online design centre. If you need help with how to use it, we have instructions here.

Make sure you send us any badges, flags, or other design work so that we can check that we're all getting the best out of our new brand and sign off the design.

If you have any questions, you can always get in touch with our friendly office team

National Trefoil Guild logo
The national logo should not be used unless you are working in conjunction with the national team to create materials. Please use the Girlguiding online design centre to create a localised logo appropriate for your area and level (guild, county etc.)

We have instructions if you need support.
