Two members of Anglesey Trefoil Guild who decided to ride the triple zip wire Titan at Blaenau Ffestiniog to celebrate their 70th year - L Angela Owen, R-Gillian Slinn. It was a windy (as you can see from the Trefoil scarf we tried to show)  & very misty day so could not see the ground but was still exhilarating & we hope to do it again on a clear day when we will know what to expect, & might even be joined by a few more members!! 

Janet Pierce, Trefoil member in Llandudno and also Division Commissioner, recently received the British Citizens Award for her work in the community in Llanrwst, and for her contribution to Girlguiding.

Penylan members made 'Calennigs' for an International challenge.

Penylan again wearing fancy hats before their fish and chip Christmas dinner.

West Glamorgan Guild members got together for a ‘Dabble Day’ - activities included walking in the picturesque surroundings of Parkmill, Bulb planting, Flower arranging, a variety of Crafts, Sweet making, Painting for complete beginners, Sharing a book or poem and to complete the day a Sing along. Members enjoyed a busy day of activities, working together and meeting new members, a really happy day.
Neath Guild's October meeting - Supporting Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Guest Speaker was a local trainer for Guide Dogs for the Blind,  and he brought along ‘Jake’ his puppy dog - 14 months old. Members enjoyed a very interesting and informative morning, with Jake being on best behaviour.
Jake will hopefully one day provide independence to a person with sight-loss, and be their eyes and best friend 24 hrs a day in the home and while out in the community. Jake was moving on for more advance training within a few days of this photo.


Bridgend Guild decorated this tree for the Christmas Tree Festival at Nolton Church.

the decorations followed the year's theme of 'Connect', with jigsaw pieces labelled with the names of different religions throughout the world.
All Guiding and Scouting secions were also included.

Cwmbran  Guild held a nostalgic afternoon remembering their Camp Fire Days and the singalongs, accompanied by their new Chairman Guin James on the guitar,
Although their voices were not as sweet as they used to be, they sang their hearts out with old and some new camp fire songs, all washed down with a nice cup of tea.

Swansea Guild walking group go out every month. In May they went to Clyne Gardens, Swansea

Members of Girlguiding and Trefoil Caernarvonshire, visited the Pushing Boundaries exhibition.

Members from Cwmbran Guild completed their Mexican challenge with the decorating of masks.

They were all presented with their badges, having carried out various challenges, making a piñata, learning some Mexican songs and tasting some Mexican food. The money raised went to the Mexican Challenge Fund for Our Cabaña.

In August Gwent Trefoil members held an afternoon tea at the local animal sanctuary , to which the Lones were invited. There was a guided tour of the sanctuary (All creatures great and small) followed by a superb afternoon tea.

Caernarvon members visited the Pushing Boundaries exhibition in the summer.

in September they held a mini Olympics - mini being the operative word.
       The 'events' were mini and varied

and medals and cups were duly awarded
