The Latest News From Trefoil Guild Members
National Internet Guild
4th November 2009

- Friends Around the World
You may have already read in The Trefoil magazine or heard through your County that the National Executive of the Trefoil Guild has agreed to form a National Internet Guild. This new Guild went live in October and interest has already been shown by former members of guiding and Trefoil who live abroad.
Why an Internet Guild? To enable those who would like to join a Guild, but who, due to their geography or mobility, are unable to join a local Guild and attend its meetings. It will give its members a means by which they can be in contact with other members, form new friendships and continue to keep in touch.
The Internet Guild will be in the form of a social networking website. This website will be completely secure and will have a ‘Chairman’ who will co-ordinate the social network. As the Guild will be accessible via the Internet, the Trefoil Guild website will be an important link by which its members keep in touch with what is going on in Trefoil. They will also receive a copy of The Trefoil three times a year.
As with all Trefoil Guilds, membership is open to anyone who subscribes to the aims and principles of Girlguiding UK or The Scout Association. Members will pay their Annual Subscription (Census) in February each year and there will be a small Guild subscription.
See below for further Information and Membership Form if you are interested in joining.
