Gwent's Centenary AGM.
As part of the Guiding Centenary celebrations, Gwent Trefoil Guilds held their AGM on the 10th April, this being the 100 day of the 100 year of Guiding.

In May 2009 Oswestry Trefoil Guild were very proud when one of their members became Town Council Mayor. What happened in May 2010 made them even more proud as a second member took up the position! I took the opportunity of catching up with Margaret Chamberlain and Elaine Channon them to ask a few questions which might shed some light on their active lives.

Centenary Flower Beds successes in Essex South East
Four Town Councils in Essex South East have risen to the challenge by planting Flower beds to celebrate the Guiding Centenary in their towns and reports of all the flowerbeds have been published in the local newspapers.

Surrey West takes to the Thames
What a great day 150 members of Surrey West Trefoil Guilds enjoyed recently—a boat trip on the River Thames for our “mountain-top moment”. Girlguiding Surrey West’s Centenary theme is water so this seemed an appropriate way for us to celebrate. We were pleased that our County Commissioner and Centenary Champion joined us.

Kent East Trefoil Guild’s Centenary Garden Party
On a glorious summer’s day in early July 300 Trefoil Guild members and guests from across Kent East descended on the gardens belonging to the Lady FitzWalter at Goodnestone Park, Wingham, near Canterbury, for a Garden Party in celebration of 100 Years of GirguidingUK.
