Centenary Tour of Great Britain.
Ten Trefoil members met at Baden-Powell house on 19th July. Margaret from New Zealand, Maureen, Annie and Merle from Wales, Vivienne from Scotland, Val from Australia, Betty from England, Carol from Canada, Brenda, Trefoil Guild President and Jackie from New Zealand together with Caroline and Alan our tour Guides.

We (Girlguiding UK) are really interested to find out your thoughts on your inclusion, as a Trefoil Guild member, in Girlguiding UK's Centenary.

Hampton Court Palace Centenary Flowerbed.
At the beginning of the Centenary celebrations a member of Greater London West approached Hampton Court Palace to ask if they could have a flowerbed in the gardens. It was felt this would be a really appropriate site as Lady Baden Powell had lived in a grace and favour apartment at the Palace from 1943 to 1976.

ICANDO Trefoil Girlguiding Reflection Day
Members of Orpington Trefoil Guild and others from Greater London Kent recently spent a day at the ICANDO centre for their Reflections Day. Other Trefoil Guild members from Brighton and Horsham joined them.

Guiding’s MI5 connections
Guiding is not the only organisation currently celebrating a centenary. The Florence Nightingale Institute is marking 100 years since her death, The Chartered Institute of Linguists is 100 years old and so is the University of Queensland. Another organisation celebrating 100 years is MI5.
