Trefoil Guild Anglia Thanks Award

Celebrating special achievement, dedication or outstanding service

The 2024 Anglia Annual Review showed the release of a brand new thanks and recognition award, exclusive to the Anglia region. The Trefoil Guild Anglia Thanks Award was conceived by Vivienne Smith, Anglia president, who has always been dedicated to recognising the commitment and hard work of our volunteers who go above and beyond to support our members and organisation.

After an exciting design competition, where members from across the Anglia region were invited to submit designs; the winning design was chosen by the region executive committee. The winner was Jayne Moore from Trefoil Guild Norfolk with this beautiful design. It incorporates the Anglia ship and shield shape, a lovely nod to our strong heraldic roots in the region. After fine tuning the final design, the badge was produced by a company within the region – supporting our local businesses.

At our annual review, Jane was presented with a thank you certificate from region chair, Evelyn Walker for her creativity and thoughtful efforts in designing this important award. Our first award winner was also surprised during the review. Vivienne was presented with the first award for her pioneering efforts in bringing the award to fruition and for her dedication to the region as president for the past 7 years, particularly for always putting our members first.

We look forward to seeing more of our volunteers being recognised and celebrated. Click below for more details of how to nominate someone for the award:  PDF  Word
