Midlands go on a cruise

Cruise 

50 members of Midlands along with a few friends and partners from Anglia and Wales embarked on a Spring cruise to Northern Europe aboard Fred Olsens ship, the Boletta. We caused quite a stir when we arrived in and turned up for dinner on the first night in our red. A drinks reception especially for our group was well received. Hamburg, Amsterdam and Zeebrugge (Bruges/Brussels) were our destinations and they did not disappoint. Everyone did different activities and trips during the day. You can imagine the chat at dinner when we all caught up with each other. A lot of folk went to the gardens of Keukenhof in Amsterdam to the bulb fields and although early in the season, the colours of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths were spectacular and we were amazed to find out that every bulb is planted  and dug up (and thrown away) by hand every year.

Everyone had a fabulous time and want to do it all again in a few years time.

Needless to say, we had a lot of interest in the Trefoil and are pretty sure we recruited a few throughout the week
